Here is a list and brief explanation of the complete set of files which you
should  have on  your disk  for  your Contacts  Manager System  to function
fully:

PHONE.BAT     - Menu-jumping search command for a name in the data bank.
                The advantage of using PHONE.BAT is that one does not have
                to step through the main menu.  It may be particularly
                useful for finding telephone numbers quickly.
                From DOS, type PHONE together with a few beginning letters
                of the person you are looking for.  For example:
                         C:\> PHONE SMI ÄÙ  for finding Mr Smith.
INSTALL.BAT   - Installation program for installing the system from
                floppy disks to a hard disk
MANUAL.BAT    - Program for printing the system manual
TOFLOPPY.BAT  - Program for making backup copies of your entire Contacts
                Manager system from your hard disk (C drive) onto 2 or 3
                floppy diskettes in drive A.
SETFIG.BAT    - Program for installing a correct CONFIG.SYS file with the
                "FILES=20" statement for hard disk users.
CONFIG.SYS    - Provided for configuration with FILES=20 statement if
                required. Floppy disk users may copy this onto their
                boot diskette.
DUALPATH.BAT  - Program to set the DOS PATH to drives A and B for dual
                floppy disk computer users.
CONTACTS.BAT  - Program start-up file for normal monitors
CONTAC.BAT    - Program start-up file for monitors showing disturbance
NOSNOW.BAT    - Program for the prevention of screen disturbance
CONTACTS.EXE  - Main program file
CONTACTS.OVL  - Main program overlay
TELEBOOK.DBF  - Main address book data file
TELEBOOK.DBT  - Main address book text file
RANK.DBF      - Priority rankings data file
RANK.DBT      - Priority rankings text file
Y             - Special file used by TOFLOPPY.BAT routine
*.LBL         - Label format files
*.NDX         - Index organisation files. These *.NDX files are not
                essential and are created by the program if not supplied.
HONESTY.MEM   - Program defaults file
TELEBOOK.FRM  - Report format file
ARCHIVE.BAT   - Program for creating an archived backup of your entire
                Contacts Manager System from your hard disk onto one floppy
                diskette.  Less disk space is required than when you use
                TOFLOPPY.BAT. Own copies of the programs PKARC.COM and
                PKXARC.COM are required.
UNFOLD.BAT    - Program for unarching an archived backup. In other words,
                UNFOLD.BAT unarcs and installs the file CONTACTS.ARC from a
                floppy disk in drive A: onto your hard disk (drive C:). Own
                copy of the program PKXARC.COM is required.
